We restore, maintain and repair all vintage analogue synthesizers.
With 30 years plus experience and a diverse skill set Kent can bring your neglected treasure that was stored in the basement back to “like new” condition. Restoring the aesthetics of the case be it solid wood, veneer, plastic, aluminium or tolex. Replacing broken sliders, caps and knobs whilst rejuvenating the electronics, adding value for onward sale or making good for many more years of playing pleasure.
Vintage synthesizers contain various electronic components which overtime may fail. We can source original replacement parts or their equivalent and retune & calibrate the instrument to sound as the designers originally intended.
Vintage synthesizers need to be serviced, key board bushes replaced to improve action, tracks and wires cleaned to prevent corrosion and distortion to the sound, batteries renewed to preserve the pre-sets and power sources reconditioned all this and a good clean. We will do as much or as little as required to ensure reliability of your vintage synth and charge accordingly.
If you have a specific issue with your vintage equipment, be it keyboard, guitar synth, drum machine, outboard or pedals etc, Kent offers a diagnostic service by which you can benefit from his many years’ experience working with a wide range of machines.
Just detail the problem on the booking form or call direct to talk it through. Alternatively, you could tune in to one of his regular guest slots on the pro synth network and ask the expert for his advice.
